a country engagement in southern michigan | Ann Arbor wedding photographer
I can't even express how excited I was to shoot Ann and Josh's (long overdue) engagement session. Put aside the fact that they are both pretty awesome on their own, they come together as an even cooler couple. A fact that they obviously knew pretty quickly into their relationship. Five months after being unwillingly set up by friends they bought their first house to flip together. Apparently their friends did a good job this time! 5 years and 2 beautiful little girls later, Ann and Josh have been engaged for a while but focusing more on growing their dreams as a family than planning the wedding. They say it will happen.....eventually. Right now -in these very photos!- baby #3 is busy baking so the wedding will stay on the back burner a little longer :)
Our session focused around the goofy love the two of them share with lots of laughing and silly faces. Ann treasures most Josh's sense of humor and its a good thing he absolutely loves her smile because he brings it out of her constantly. Even though we accidentally planned their engagement session for opening day for hunting (Josh was not thrilled about this) he still couldn't have convinced me he didn't have a blast cuddling, kissing, and laughing with his soul mate. Come on. Look at these. There's no denying the love...
