a Re-wed session in Saline Michigan
Carla and Mike knew each other through mutual friends before they actually met when she started working at the same restaurant as him. They started spending time together as friends, but quickly realized there was a spark. Mike loved Carla's extreme sense of adventure and she thought he had a great sense of humor. The bond became love when, on their first road trip together, Carla's car stereo broke and much to her surprise (in the best way possible) Mike pulled a boombox out of his backpack to save the day. How could she not love someone so amazingly prepared?
When the planning of a wedding quickly became stressful and complicated, they decided that having a small, intimate wedding was the best choice for them. They got married at the Arb in Ann Arbor with just themselves and family, and unfortunately, no photographer. The week of their 2 year anniversary, I had the pleasure of shooting a re-wed session for them so they will have beautiful wedding pictures to treasure for the rest of their lives. They were an amazing couple to work with on the day, and after the fact! Carla did a great job at writing out their love story for me which helped tremendously in the writing of this blog. I hope you all love their session as much as I do! Enjoy!
